To find the premium just see your age category and Sum Insured required. Its from 1 lac to 5 lacs.
For example Mr. Rajesh is of age 39 and Wife Rajashri is of age 33. They have one son Ravi of age 6.
Rajesh wants individual mediclaim for each family Member as:
Rajesh (age- 39)- Rs. 500000 Premium Rs. 6240
Rajashtri ( age 33)- Rs. 200000 Premium Rs. 2595
Ravi (son- age -6) - Rs. 100000 Premium Rs. 1300

Total Premium is Rs. 10135
Add Service Tax 12.36% -----> Rs. 1253

Total Premium for Medicalim ------> Rs. 11388.00

Rajesh Now gets the Tax benefit under 80(d) for amount of Medicliam i.e. Rs.10135.00
His family gets covered for Medical Expenses.
